01Our commitment.

We believe engineering information should be available to every user, on every device, regardless of ability. We design vbengg.com with the intent of meeting Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA published by the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative. This target aligns with the EU Accessibility Act (2025), the US Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) case-law consensus, and international best practice.

02What we do.

• Semantic HTML · headings in hierarchical order, landmark regions (nav, main, footer), meaningful link text.
• Alt text on images · every meaningful image on the site carries a descriptive alt attribute. Decorative images are marked as such.
• Colour contrast · text-background pairs targeting 4.5:1 contrast minimum for body text and 3:1 for large text, meeting WCAG AA. Locked to an 8-hex brand palette (#0B2451, #143A78, #F26522, #FFFFFF, #FAFAFA, #F8F8F8, #4A5A7A, #E5E7EB).
• Keyboard navigation · all interactive elements reachable and operable via keyboard, with visible focus indicators.
• Screen reader support · ARIA labels, roles, and semantic markup for assistive technology.
• Responsive design · content adapts to viewport widths from 320px to 4K displays.
• Video captions · video content on the site carries captions where deployed.

03Known limitations.

We are candid about work still in progress:

• Some 3D scenes (Three.js hero animations on country hub pages and industry hub pages) may not be fully accessible to screen readers. We provide text-based summaries adjacent to these scenes.
• PDF downloads (case studies, whitepapers, brochures) may not be fully tagged for accessibility. We accept requests for accessible alternatives at [email protected].
• Third-party embeds (Bitrix24 forms, Interakt WhatsApp widget) may not meet the same standard as VB-authored content.

04Report an issue.

If you encounter a barrier to accessing vbengg.com, please tell us. We commit to acknowledge your report within five (5) business days and to remediate valid, in-scope issues within a reasonable time frame.

Accessibility is a journey, not a destination. We commission periodic external accessibility audits, integrate accessibility checks into our build gate (audit_page_against_rulebook.py), and review this Statement at least annually.
