DMCA & Copyright Complaint Policy.

If you believe content on vbengg.com infringes your copyright, submit a takedown request following the procedure below. We respect intellectual property rights and respond promptly to properly formed notices.

Effective: 1 July 2026 · Designated Agent: Legal Officer, VB Engineering · Statutory basis: DMCA (US) 17 U.S.C. §512 · Indian Copyright Act 1957 as amended · Berne Convention · TRIPS Agreement.

01Our policy.

VB Engineering respects the intellectual property rights of others. We respond to properly formed takedown notices submitted under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), the Indian Copyright Act 1957 (as amended in 2012), and equivalent statutes in the jurisdictions where we operate.

02How to submit a notice.

Send a takedown notice by email to [email protected] and copy [email protected]. Your notice must include:

  1. Your full legal name, physical address, phone number, and email address.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed (title, registration number if any, description).
  3. The specific URL(s) on vbengg.com where the allegedly infringing material appears.
  4. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that: (a) the information in your notice is accurate; (b) you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf; (c) you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. Your physical or electronic signature.

Incomplete or improperly formed notices will be disregarded. False notices may result in liability under 17 U.S.C. §512(f) or equivalent law.

03What we do on receiving a valid notice.

  1. We review the notice within seven (7) business days.
  2. If we determine the notice is valid, we remove or disable access to the identified material, in whole or in part, without prior notice to the poster.
  3. We notify the poster (if identifiable) of the takedown and the basis for it.
  4. We retain records of the notice and our response for at least three (3) years.

04Counter-notice.

If your material has been removed and you believe it was removed in error or misidentified, you may submit a counter-notice to [email protected]. Your counter-notice must include:

  1. Your full name, address, phone number, and email address.
  2. Identification of the removed material and the URL where it appeared.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana, India (or, if a US party, the federal district court for your address; or, if outside the US, the courts of Hyderabad).
  5. A statement that you will accept service of process from the party who submitted the original takedown notice.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

On receipt of a valid counter-notice, we may restore the removed material after ten (10) to fourteen (14) business days, unless we receive notice that the original complainant has filed a court action.

05Repeat infringer policy.

VB terminates access to any user or account identified as a repeat copyright infringer, in accordance with 17 U.S.C. §512(i). "Repeat infringer" means any person against whom two or more takedown notices have been substantiated.

06Reservation of rights.

Nothing in this Policy limits VB's own copyright and IP rights. VB reserves the right to pursue any remedy available at law or in equity against any party who reproduces, distributes, transmits, or otherwise infringes VB's copyrighted content, including without limitation content on vbengg.com. VB's copyrighted works include but are not limited to text, images, diagrams, animations, 3D scenes, source code, methodology descriptions, brand marks, and the category coinage "Brownfield Digital Engineering."
