Modern Slavery Statement.

VB Engineering condemns modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, child labour, and every form of exploitation. This Statement describes the steps we take across our operations and supply chain to prevent and detect these abuses.

Effective: 1 July 2026 · Version: 1.0 · Prepared in accordance with the principles of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 · California Transparency in Supply Chains Act · Australian Modern Slavery Act 2018.

01Our position.

Modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, bonded labour, and child labour are abhorrent and unlawful. VB Engineering has zero tolerance for any of these practices in our own operations or in any part of our supply chain. This Statement reflects the standard we set for ourselves and expect of every partner we engage.

02About VB Engineering.

VB Engineering India Private Limited is a company incorporated in India with its headquarters in Hyderabad. We provide Brownfield Digital Engineering services — Power System Studies, 3D LiDAR Scanning, As-Built Engineering, Discrete Event Simulation, Risk Assessments, and Safety Audits — to enterprise clients in India, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Australia, the United Kingdom, and other jurisdictions. Our workforce consists of employees, contract engineers, and specialist subcontractors.

03Our operations.

All VB Engineering employees are engaged on written contracts of employment. We pay at least the statutory minimum wage in every jurisdiction where we operate, and typically well above. Overtime is paid at statutory rates. We do not confiscate identification documents from any worker. We do not charge recruitment fees to any worker. No worker is required to work more than statutory maximum hours without proportionate rest.

04Our supply chain.

Our supply chain includes: (a) specialist subcontract engineers hired for specific projects; (b) equipment and software vendors (ETAP, DigSILENT, PSCAD, Leica, Faro, FlexSim, and equivalents); (c) office premises leases; (d) IT and cloud infrastructure providers; (e) travel and logistics providers; (f) marketing agencies. We assess each category for modern slavery risk.

05Risk assessment.

We assess the following as our highest-risk categories:

  • Subcontract site labour · particularly in geographies where migrant worker protections are weaker.
  • Facility management & catering at our office premises.
  • Data-entry and back-office subcontract for LiDAR post-processing or drafting.
  • Downstream client sites where our engineers walk down · we may observe conditions that trigger reporting obligations.

Lower-risk categories include enterprise software, professional services, cloud infrastructure.

06Steps we take.

  • Vendor Code of Conduct · every vendor above a materiality threshold signs a Vendor Code committing to no forced labour, no child labour, minimum-wage compliance, freedom of association, and audit rights.
  • Due diligence · for high-risk vendor categories, we conduct pre-contract due diligence including labour-practices review.
  • Right of audit · VB reserves the right to audit any vendor's labour practices with reasonable notice.
  • Client-site observation reporting · VB engineers on client site are trained to identify and report suspected modern-slavery conditions to VB management, which will assess reporting obligations under applicable law.
  • Training · all VB employees receive annual training on identifying modern-slavery indicators.
  • Whistleblower channel · anonymous reporting to [email protected] or directly to the Board.

07Effectiveness.

We measure effectiveness through: (a) number of vendors screened, (b) number of concerns reported and their resolution, (c) any regulatory or civil action against VB or its vendors, (d) worker survey pulse where feasible. This Statement will be updated annually reflecting progress.

08Governance.

This Statement is issued by the Board of Directors of VB Engineering India Private Limited and reviewed annually. Day-to-day implementation is delegated to the Chairman and to Human Resources leadership. The Chief Financial Officer maintains vendor-diligence records.
