Why brownfield is different

Brownfield is not greenfield with old equipment.

Hyperscale data centres are not greenfield electrical work. They are brownfield on the utility intake side - existing 12.47 kV substations adapted for hyperscale load. The Pune practice is built around that reality. Pre-commissioning studies must reconcile the operator design intent with the utility substation reality. That reconciliation is where most pre-commissioning issues originate.
